The harmful effect of alcohol on the body

The effects of drugs, whether licit or illicit, are relatively well known physicians. Alcohol is particularly well known as formerly used by most Western populations.
The inventory of effects, impressive, does not mean that this product is more dangerous than other products to use limited or prohibited, it simply means that its effects are better documented.

The psychotropic effects:

Alcohol is a product that initially stimulates the individual, and then calm or sleep. It is disinhibiting, ie promoting the exchange with others, but also “acting out” (violence, aggression). Chronic use of alcohol leads to depression if indeed that was not already existing.
Alcohol is classified as a drug. Psychological dependence is relatively small, the impression of psychic dependence is largely underpinned by the temporary improvement of the mental state during alcohol intake. Physical dependence is very important. Indeed, the craving or alcohol withdrawal causes tremors, mental confusion (delirium tremens or prédélirium) without care, can go to death. In these states, the person trembling, sweating, often with hallucinations type animals (rats, spiders, reptiles). This condition is a medical emergency.
