In the early ’20s a chemical called Maurice Gatefosse accidentally discovered the benefits of aromatherapy. While working on his perfume laboratory deep concentration, his arm caught fire. He quickly tried to find the closest substance to allow him to extinguish the fire. He saw a tank with lavender oil and dipped in the arm.
To his surprise, not only extinguished the fire but his arm healed without scarring or infections. In later used the word “aromatherapy” to describe the healing I had experienced.
Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils extracted from plants, herbs and other natural resources to produce products that enhance the welfare and improving health. Aromatherapy uses a few methods: inhalation or skin application.
Inhaled understand the direct inhalation of fumes or vapors through oil diffusers ionized in the environment. With regard to the application on the skin can be through baths, compresses, or massaging specific points on the body with oils that are absorbed and produce a general state of wellbeing and harmony.
